Do you ever need a visual reminder to remember something you intend to do? Well, that’s exactly what the “Yellow Bag” program does for folks at Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene and Lower Providence Presbyterian Church.
Bright yellow plastic bags with carrying handles hang on special racks in highly visible locations in both buildings. Each bag has a list of items needed by the Hospitality Center attached. Worshippers simply pick up a bag, fill it with needed items and return the bag to a designated area. The contents are delivered to the Hospitality Center and the empty bags are returned to the racks to be reused.

We depend on your generosity in supplying us with goods to operate the shelter. Although we still need all of our usually-listed items, we are spotlighting those most urgently needed as we approach the fall/winter months. Thank you!

Again this year the Hospitality Center will hold its annual Christmas Breakfast on Christmas morning. We would like to present each client in attendance with a special gift box filled with items packed especially for them. Shoe boxes filled with the following suggested items would be gratefully accepted. Each box should be gift wrapped and labeled either “man” or “woman.”
Please wrap the box and lid separately and hold together tightly with rubber bands. We will add some additional items and seal the box. Suggested items might include, but not limited to: socks, gloves, scarves, ear warmers, nail clippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, candy..
